Rikus Draijer
 
He ensures the participation of highly qualified dance groups from all continents in the program in Warffum every year.
Rikus Draijer is the founder of the IOV-section-Nederlands. The IOV-section-Nederlands was founded in 1993 in Warffum.
IOV means International Organisation of Folksculture.180 countries are a member of this organisation.
The organisation is recognised by UNESCO and has a so called NGO-status (Non Governmental Organisation).
Within the umbrella organisation there are several commissions such as: a scientific commission (Universities) music, dance, costumes, literature (fairy-tales, folks-tales), architecture, traditional cooking, traditional medicine, ethnological museums etc. The management of the IOV is the Presidential Council. Rikus Draijer is the vice-president and is responsible for "festivals and meetings".
Because of this quality he often gets invited to congresses and festivals around the world.

Due to these contacts Rikus Draijer is able to, invite spectacular dance groups to come to the Netherlands and other parts of Europe, not only for Op Roakeldais but also for many other festivals. He organises tours of 2 weeks up to 2 months for Intercontinental dance groups, not only in the Netherlands but in many other European countries.
