De Iesselschotsers

The folkloric dance group “De Iesselschotsers” from Steenderen in the Netherlands, founded on December 1, 1981, aims to propagate and honor the folklore from the East Netherlands, by means of dance music. dance, music (accordion) and song from around 1900. The name of the group is derived from the river IJssel (Iessel) that flows past the village.

The group is dressed in various costumes from around 1900, as they were worn in the region around the IJssel.
