Op Roakeldais is the biggest annual festival for international folkdance and -music in the Netherlands. The festival is organized for over 55 years every year. Op Roakeldais is held in the last weekend of June in Warffum.It is our goal to have dance groups from all over the world of a high artistic level participate in the festival and we want the audience to enjoy a wide diversity of participating countries. The Op Roakeldais festival is characterized by a special atmosphere of fraternization. The dancers are hospitably received in host families for a week, making Op Roakeldais their second home for a while. Op Roakeldais Festival is a CIOFF-festival.

- Dance Parade, in the streets of Warffum
- Dance Together: After the Show on Saturday the public can learn a dance fromevery dance group. The dancers mingle with the public and they dance together.
During the program after the Shows young and old can enjoy a lot of live music. From regional bands to (inter)national artists.
