On the theater stage, the band Batatuke will take you on an unforgettable musical journey through the rhythms of the Caribbean and Africa. Batatuke brings an exciting mix of Afro-pop, Brazilian, Caribbean, South American and jazz influences. The rhythms and music that were created by African slaves to express their emotions and strength are the inspiration for the band. This music was originally developed by the Africans who, after being taken as slaves to overseas colonial territories, transformed their feelings of resistance and strength into music, often to relieve the pain of the hard work on the plantations.

Some songs are inspired by combative stories from African countries. During the concert, appropriate images are projected and short stories are told that deepen the musical experience, so that you can enjoy the show that you will see afterwards even more. A powerful musical performance with beautiful monologues and a message from the Caribbean. This with the cooperation of Ballet Folklorique Tchè Créyol from Martinique and Compañia Camagua from Cuba.
