Ballet Caldén Gaucho
This year, Roakeldais welcomes the passionate Ballet Caldén Gaucho from Argentina. This dynamic group takes the audience to the vast plains of the Pampas, where the pride and traditions of the Argentine gaucho take center stage.
The gaucho – the South American cowboy – is an important symbol of freedom, craftsmanship, and connection to the land. Ballet Caldén Gaucho brings this culture to life with powerful dances and impressive choreographies. Rhythms from the energetic malambo, featuring fast and rhythmic footwork, alternate with the elegant and expressive tango, where passion and refinement come together.
What makes this group extra special is that they are accompanied by the renowned music group Los Jarrilles, which enjoys great fame in its home country. Their live music adds an authentic and captivating dimension to the performance and enhances the experience on stage.
With rhythmic footwork, the use of boleadoras, and a strong stage presence, they manage to captivate the audience from start to finish. At the same time, they reveal another side in the tango: intense, restrained, and full of emotion.
During Op Roakeldais, Ballet Caldén Gaucho creates a fiery and captivating experience in which tradition, passion, and the versatility of Argentine culture take center stage.
