‘The varied and rich culture of Peru’

From Peru, a country located on the west coast of South America, comes the versatile group Ritmos del Tiempo. The home base of the group with young energetic dancers is in Lima, where they have been working since 2012 with beautiful shows with dance, music and theater. For example, the group was already on stage at Op Roakeldais in 2014. A participation that the group looks back on with great pride and since then they have seen a lot of the world.

Before the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors, Peru was the heart of the Inca empire, of which Cuzco was the capital. This is reflected in the dances that this beautiful group will show. Ritmos del Tiempo shows dances from all three landscapes that the country knows, namely the Amazon lowland, the coastal area and the sierra. The beautiful and colorful costumes and the rousing music ensure that the audience will actually experience themselves in Peru.
